Achernar

This is my visualization of Achernar, the brightest star in the constellation Eridanus and an example of a Be-class, rapidly rotating star. Like other Be stars, it has a disk of material originating from the star itself due to its rapid rotation.

Along with the art I have done, I have included a video of a simulation I did of this star with the software SpaceSim. The video emonstrates how the rapid rotation causes the formation of the disk after some time.
